Meet Mr. and Mrs. Barrett!
These two are just plain sweet, soft-spoken, down-to-earth people. At their engagement session I asked them what they were most excited about for marriage and they said they were pumped to get to travel together more and do normal life things together. This week, they’re jumping right into all that with an amazing honeymoon in Antigua and I couldn’t be happier for them!
Every wedding day has it’s challenges, and this one was no different! Molly & Austen tied the knot at a Marriott (just like we did!) in Richmond. Hotel grounds can be tricky, since the grounds themselves are often small and cars or signs are difficult to work around. Across the street from the hotel was a Wells Fargo with a pavilion and picnic tables out front with a small corner of trees. That spot didn’t look like much to the naked eye (parking lot on one side, picnic tables and a yellow and white tent on the other) but we managed to squeeze the majority of their portraits into that little spot! Molly and Austen trusted the vision (they’re awesome about that!) and what we captured there was so perfectly them!
This day looks like fall (love me some yellow leaves!) but man, did it feel like summer! Molly and Austen were absolute troopers for our hot and humid first look and bridal party portraits and they turned out beautiful!
