Meet Amy & Ivan!
Well, you actually have already met these two, but the bump is new! There is something so so special about capturing my clients-turned-friends through their milestone moments. I took Amy and Ivan’s wedding portraits in these exact locations (I’ll link that blog post here) and then about a year later we came back for their maternity portraits! Amy even opted to wear her wedding day crown again and we made a point to re-create some of their favorite wedding photos!
We were a sight to see, two pregnant ladies hobbling around Regent for a quick mini session! Amy and I were both due within the same month- me with Miriam and her with little Ivan Jr! Both babies are now nearing 2 years old, but I wanted to save these photos here on the blog because they are so beautiful and sweet.
I love capturing the season of anticipation and all the joy and excitement of maternity portraits. And it feels even sweeter when it’s a couple’s first baby! They’re young and in love and have that perfect balance of nervousness and joy pushing them into this new season of parenthood. I love seeing how they lean on each other, look at each other, and marvel over this moment before their bump becomes the baby in their arms.
