Hey friends!
A photographer friend of mine put out a model call asking for a couple that was willing to get in their wedding clothes again and adventure around Norfolk with her. Photographers make these kinds of calls pretty often, but I’ve been waiting- holding out to put on my dress for the right photographer. Someone who captures love in a playful, colorful, genuine way. Cat is awesome at that so I was dying to get to work with her! I can’t tell you how fast I slid into her DMs 🙂
And of course, wearing your wedding dress only once is such a bummer! I’ve been waiting for the chance to wear it (and be photographed in it) one more time before getting it professionally cleaned and packaged for my daughter to maybe wear one day. Thankfully, a little Spanx and the amazingness of a lace-up back made it easy to wear again. I called on some sweet friends for hair and makeup help and left our house feeling like a bride- the best feeling- all over again!
We had such a blast with Cat and truly got lucky with a cloudy day in the lower 70s (so much cooler than out actual July wedding day!) and we hardly broke a sweat flirting and twirling all evening.
Thank you again Cat Deline for gifting us this shoot (and a Cold Stone gift card- say whattt)! It was so sweet to be a bride and groom again! Enjoy some of my absolute favorites from our Freemason District anniversary session!
