Meet Yuly, Todd and Baby Girl!
Todd and I grew up at the same church in Yorktown, but didn’t know each other much then. In the last few years we’ve reconnected as I shot his sister’s wedding photos, his family photos, and now he and Yuly are pregnant with a baby girl. When we met up for these photos it was so sweet to have time to slow down and hear their story and laugh at all the similarities we have in common!
Todd and Yuly met online when Yuly had just moved to the area. Since she didn’t know anyone yet, they were able to spend a lot of time together upfront and fell for each other hard. Just 4 months after their first date, they were engaged! We laughed because that was Alvin and I’s timeline too, but when you know, you know! It was so special to hear them reflect on how much they’ve grown in their 5 years of marriage. I asked them where they felt like their biggest growth was and they responded, “Probably in truly making Jesus the center of our lives and marriage.” It was humbling to hear how they have grown in faith and love over the last 5 years, and I can only imagine what wonderful parents they will be with such a firm foundation.
Yuly and Todd, I am excited for you as you enter this new season of life! Baby girls are so much fun, and I’m sure she will have you both wrapped around her little fingers. Thank you for letting me document this special time of anticipation for you both.
