Meet Molly and Austen!
They met through church friends at a bar and hit it off easily. They both weren’t looking for anything romantic, but started seeing each other more often and became gym buddies. It didn’t take long for their friendship to bloom into more and before they knew it they were dating. Not too long after, Austen took Molly into DC for a date and got down on one knee and proposed to her in front of the Capital Building. She of course said yes 🙂
These two are just plain sweet, soft-spoken, down-to-earth people. I asked them what they were most excited about for marriage and they said they were pumped to get to travel together more and do normal life things together. We laughed about their favorite shows, an amazing first fart story they have (you just have to ask them!) and had a wonderful time wandering the streets of Old Town together.
We were supposed to do their session a month ago but had to reschedule because of weather (seriously, the hardest part of my job is making calls on shoot timing based on weather!) but I’m so glad we did because we truly had a perfect (albeit warm) sunny evening for these photos! They were worth the wait!
Ahh I can’t wait for these two’s wedding! September will be here before we know it! For now, enjoy some of my favorites from their Old Town Alexandria engagement session.
Wonderful pictures wishing you both all the happiness!!!
