Meet LeeAnna and Michael!

LeeAnna and I grew up at opposing high schools in Yorktown, both wound up at Mason for college, both started dating older guys we’d known for a while during our senior years, both graduated with Communications degrees…we were both proposed to on the National Mall with all our friends nearby, we have super similar rings, and we both married men in ministry- both our guys are youth pastors! And now we’re both coming up on our 2 year wedding anniversaries!

It’s crazy how our lives have run such similar tracks! I was thrilled when LeeAnna reached out wanting some fun “just because” photos of the two of them. We had such a blast catching up, eating ice cream and exploring the ViBe District together! We couldn’t have chosen a hotter day, but these two were awesome sports and we had a nice ocean breeze to keep us going. We laughed the entire time and survived the 100+ degree weather with only a few melted ice cream spills and SO MANY perfect shots!⠀

These two have such a sweet dynamic. Michael is a goofball and was totally down with all my prompts, easily getting smiles from LeeAnna with all his hilarious shenanigans. Let me tell you, every ounce of laughter you see in these shots is all to his credit! He took my prompts and ran with them and we had a total blast!
