Meet Laurie and Edy!
I’m so excited to share this anniversary session with you today for 2 reasons:
1. It’s all kinds of colorful! We shot at Cure Coffeehouse, the Neon District, and the Norfolk waterfront at Nauticus and these images are full of laughter and color and they just make me happy!
2. Edy is one of my college friends and we hadn’t seen each other for 3+ years! I used to play pranks on him freshman year (we Saran wrapped his car and tin foiled his entire room) and he was such a good sport about it! I’d never met his sweet wife, Laurie, so I was so excited when they asked me to capture these images for them in honor of their 2 year anniversary this past summer.
These two have the best “meet cute” story- an impromptu coffeeshop “date” simply because Laurie needed to charge her phone (and Edy was at table with the outlet) while she waited on a friend that never came. They ended up talking for 2 hours, reconnecting weeks later through a series of crazy coincidences, and have been inseparable ever since! We caught up in a coffeeshop not unlike their first date spot and walked the streets of downtown Norfolk together, as I captured their love. These two have the most playful and loving relationship, full of laughter and adventure.
