Meet Jackie and Brian!
You may recognize these two from this blog post earlier in the summer when they modeled for a styled shoot I was a part of in Chesapeake on the hottest day ever! When I first met them, I couldn’t get over how sweet they were and how Brian expressed zero hesitation whenever I’d ask him to pull Jackie in for a kiss (even in what felt like 100 degree temperatures). It was obvious their love was sincere and gentle, kind and thoughtful, quick to laugh and reminisce.
We kept in touch after the shoot and when Jackie told Brian she was dying to have family photos with their dog Sable for her birthday, he called me up. I was so excited to be a part of such a fun and thoughtful birthday gift!
We had the most perfect and sunny fall day to capture these fun images together and it was sweet to be back around my old stomping grounds on the Peninsula. Lots of laughs were had as we wrangled Sable for these photos (including a dog in couples portraits is kind of like trying to coral a 2 year old, so it requires lots of treats!), caught up on life, and explored the trail together.
