Meet Jenn and Connor!
My couples are the best. I don’t know how I get so lucky! I’m always a little nervous before an engagement session when I’ve never met the couple in person before, and even moreso when they say beforehand, “Would you go out to dinner with us afterwards? Our treat!”– Such a generous offer! But what will we talk about for an entire engagement session and entire meal afterwards? — Why do I waste any time on thoughts like this? It was the best night, the highlight of my week!
Jenn and Connor are the kind of people that make you feel like a friend right from the start. They laugh easily, are down-to-earth, humble, and kind. They love each other fiercely, and are playful and sweet. They’ve been together for years and are just so comfortable with each other that to be with them you feel instantly at peace, pulled into their calm. We talked life in Richmond, how they met, all our random mutual connections, board games and TV shows, etc. And before I knew it we’d walked the entire Museum District with the best possible weather, enjoyed drinks and an amazing meal at The Daily, and I was hugging them saying, “See you in October!”, feeling so sad to have to wait so long for a reunion! To say I can hardly wait for their The Boathouse at Rockett’s Landing wedding is a huge understatement!
Enjoy my favorites from this perfect spring Richmond Museum District engagement session!
Love,
Sarah
