I’ve been wanting to show you this backyard micro wedding for a while now, so I’m so happy to highlight these dear friends on the blog today! Hannah and Evan got married in June in an intimate backyard ceremony with their bridal party and families present at Hannah’s dad’s home. This wasn’t the original plan (#COVID), but they rolled with the punches, and it was a beautiful day filled with so much joy (Hannah’s smile and Evan’s grin get me every time- I couldn’t stop smiling as I edited their photos)! And next year they’ll have the big party with all their people, an epic 1 year anniversary celebration!
One of my favorite moments from their day was their first look- these two were long distance dating at the time and hadn’t actually seen each other until the first look! Evan had only just gotten in town! So it made this first look extra sweet as they held each other and hugged for the longest time. Then they shared letters, and ya’ll need to pause on those photos and just look at their faces- so much sweetness, tenderness and joy!
These two and their amazing bridal party were so fun to spend a day with. They’re all dear college friends, so it felt like a little reunion walking into their getting ready rooms at the beginning of the day! It made my heart so happy to see so many faces I love in one place and I felt so honored to be among the few present for their wedding day.
Hannah and Evan, I cannot wait till next June when we can celebrate all over again! For now, enjoy my favorites from their beautiful day!
