Hannah & Evan | Colonial Williamsburg Engagement Session | Williamsburg Wedding Photographer

Meet Hannah and Evan!

Evan and I met in Chinese class sophomore year. He was a commuter and I managed to rope him into my friend group and bring him along to Cru, where eventually he met Hannah.  She was my housemate when they started seeing each other more.  That winter we played a massive group game called Assassins where essentially everyone has a target to “kill” and the last one standing wins.  It can take 2 weeks to determine a winner.  Each day had a different “immunity” that, if you did this or wore that, you couldn’t be killed.  Conveniently, one of the days the immunity was you had to hold someone’s hand.  A group of us went to National Harbor that day and in the name of the game they held hands all night and I forced them to pose for their first photo together.

They started dating days later.

I mean, I’m not saying I instigated this butttt…⁣ ⁣ Just kidding, of course there was so much I wasn’t a part of here, but it is so special to have played a super small role in their lives and to have watched their relationship grow over the years.  When they got engaged back in January I reached out and Hannah told me I of course had to be their photographer- “You took our very first photo together!”  Oh goodness, I am so excited and cannot wait for these two to get married already!

Enjoy some of my favorites from our evening wandering Colonial Williamsburg laughing our heads off!

Love,

Sarah
