Brittni & Jon | Colonial Williamsburg Engagement Session | Williamsburg Wedding Photographer

Meet Brittni and Jon!

I love it when I get to capture clients through the years!  Brittni’s family has dubbed me the family photographer and I have had the honor of capturing her siblings senior photos, their family photos, and now her engagement photos! Brittni and I actually spent years doing marching band together in high school- she in the color guard and me playing clarinet. We had fun reminiscing on our growing up in Yorktown days. It’s always a joy to reunite with the Hughes- this family is gold!

The three of us walked Colonial Williamsburg together and they told me about how they met (Bumble!), their first date (she took a risk and met him at his place and it turned out perfect- he made her dinner and they watched Tangled together, which, if you know Brittni, is right up her alley), their recent trip to Europe (basically a honeymoon before their honeymoon), her Disney obsession (she worked at Disney for a few years and they are incorporating subtle nods to Tangled in their wedding), their jobs (she’s a math teacher and color guard instructor and he’s a Norfolk firefighter), their latest shows (Brooklyn Nine Nine and Pysch- both returning favorites for Alvin and I too!), and their upcoming wedding (at a beautiful bed and breakfast in Historic Yorktown- I can’t wait!).

It was a warm summer evening, but these two were flexible and played along with all my fun prompts, resulting in the cutest photos of their love! Enjoy my favorites from their Colonial Williamsburg engagement session.

Love,
Sarah
