Meet Anastasiya and Brendan!
So, fun story: Anastasiya is one of my sister’s college besties. She and I are the same age, and she got pregnant with her first little girl two months before we did with Lydia. She and her husband Brendan live in LA now, and were back visiting family over the holidays when I saw them last for a family photo session. We were talking, and Anastasiya was day dreaming about adding another little one to their family. Well, here they are! Baby girl #2 is on the way, and it’s just crazy to me that we’re doing it all over again- both pregnant with little girls about a year after our first pregnancies, and so excited to be girl moms x 2!
While she and Brendan were in town last week, we took some time to celebrate this special season for them with maternity photos. Anastasiya couldn’t stop gushing, “This is so fun! I feel like I’m engaged, I’m so giddy! This is such a special date!” I couldn’t help but smile. I hope all my couples feel this way when they walk away from a session with me. I love to draw out each couple’s personalities, hear more of their stories, and get them laughing and flirting with each other. It does make for a perfect date night, if I do say so myself!
I loved getting to walk my favorite little beachside neighborhood filled with ivy walls and beautiful beach houses, capturing this sweet couple on a Wednesday afternoon. Enjoy some of my favorites from this East Beach spring maternity session!
