Meet Mr. and Mrs. Papish!
Amy and Ivan have the sweetest story. Amy lived on the West Coast, Ivan on the East, but their sisters were friends and were absolutely convinced they were meant for each other. After talking them up to each other for what felt like forever, they finally introduced them at a birthday party. When they finally met, just six months ago, the chemistry was there right from the start and things moved fast. As Ivan put it, “When you know they’re the one, why wait?”
Like all 2020 couples, their wedding weekend looked different than imagined, but they kept things simple with just family and a ceremony at their new home, where they’ll start their life together. The day before their big day Amy’s sister did her hair and makeup, they picked up their florals from Flower Lady, and explored Regent University (Ivan’s alma mater) together for some pre-nuptial portraits with me. It was a chilly December day, but the sun was shining and these two were so tender with each other, we all warmed up quickly! I am so thrilled with what we captured, and I know they’ll treasure these photos for years and years to come.
