Tracy & Bruce | Freemason District Engagement Session | Norfolk Wedding Photographer

Meet Tracy and Bruce!

The first time I met Tracy (and her sweet parents!) we sat down and talked for an hour straight.  I left that meeting thinking, THIS IS AWESOME and so excited for their August wedding at CNU next year!

We had a limited window to make a fall engagement session happen (between my shooting schedule and Bruce’s job as a campaign manager) and these two were gracious enough to drive down from Richmond so we could do their session in Norfolk!  The cobblestone streets and old homes remind them of Richmond, so it felt like the perfect spot!  We had a lot of laughs as they told me more of their story.  They’ve been together for over 2 years, and have some similar stories to Alvin and I.  We laughed about how Bruce (and Alvin!) told her he wanted to marry her before he told her he loved her.  And I loved hearing about all the mishaps (rain, rescheduling, etc.) that lead to their proposal.

We had perfect weather to wander Norfolk’s Freemason District and talk as we captured these precious photos.  It is so special to walk into a couple’s life in this crazy season and be a part of capturing their changing lives!  It’s always strange to say goodbye after shoots like these when we realize that the next time we see each other will be on their wedding day!  It’ll be here before we know it!

Enjoy my favorites from their fall engagement session!

Love,
Sarah
