Meet Our Labor of Love: Part 1!

When Coastal Events LLC approached me back in May and asked me to collaborate with them on a styled shoot, I couldn’t have been more excited. We honed in on our vision: a timeless and romantic burgundy, blush and gold shoot and bit by bit, things started to come together. This blog post features Part 1, Look 1 of the shoot. We shot two totally different looks so I can’t wait for you to see them both! I’ve said this multiple times to friends over the past few days, but it all came together better than I ever could have imagined! Everything was perfect!

Let me take a moment to credit our dream team: Briana and Michael Bloom (high school sweethearts!) modeled for us. It was such an honor to capture their love! Beauty by Tiffany Inc. did Briana’s makeup and it was timeless and perfect-exactly what I wanted! Hair by Emily Dami gave Briana the most beautiful updo, and I was floored by how well it held up. Waterford Event Rentals had elegant textured tablecloths for our two tables. The Collection by Courtney Inghram provided the show stopping chargers, silverware and plating. Lindsay Gwin blessed us with a gorgeous bouquet, centerpiece and my favorite- the floral comb for Briana’s hair! Paper Dolls Design created a beautiful invitation suite and menus that perfectly tied all the details together. And Norfolk Botanical Gardens couldn’t have been more beautiful location for such a perfect day! Last but not least, a huge thank you to my co-collaborators, Kari and Marci from Coastal Events LLC. I had so much fun working with you both!
