Meet Molly & Matt!
I loved getting to finally meet these two last week and explore Colonial Williamsburg together for their engagement portraits! They’re the kind of people that are easy to be with, and we hit it off talking about all the things right from the start. I loved how naturally these two shared their story with me. It’s clear just from talking to them that they’re best friends.
They met in college at Virginia Tech, and have been dating for years. Post college, they did long distance for a bit, and then started city-hopping together- first Atlanta, and now Cleveland. I asked them what they were most excited about for marriage, and they both expressed that they were just looking forward to a sense of greater unity and commitment in their relationship. They talked about how the commitment of engagement had already opened up deeper conversations, allowing them to talk through the hard stuff of life and grow together in new ways. They imagine marriage will be more of that.
Together they make such a great team: he’s her calm and steady, and she’s the planner who thinks things through on every angle. They can’t wait to get married in December, rain or shine! And I can’t wait for their Historic Post Office wedding! It’ll be one for the books!
