Meet Katy and Andrew!
This was my first wedding of 2021 and it did not disappoint! The sweetest ceremony, a super fun bridal party, the kindest couple, a packed dance floor, some of the best wedding food I’ve had…all at the most beautiful venue! What a day! Three different locations (getting ready, ceremony, reception), some crazy weather (thankfully the rain held off until the reception!), and a large bridal party kept things moving fast. It truly flew by, so I loved reliving each moment in preparing this post.
Katy and Andrew have to be one of the most sincere couples I’ve worked with. Beautiful people, inside and out and so very excited to become husband and wife. They have the sweetest story… they met when Katy had just moved to Richmond and was out to lunch with family and happened to notice her cute waiter. She gave him her number and before long they were inseparable. They spent their free time making cover song duets and their voices are seriously incredible together. On Katy’s birthday, Andrew wrote her a song that talked about growing old together and after he sang it to her he got down on one knee and proposed. On their wedding day, they casually did the most stunning choreographed first dance I have ever seen, completely caught up in the moment and so in love.
