Meet Katie and Chris!
If you’ve followed along for a bit, you probably recognize Chris- he’s my not-so-baby brother! Some of my brides know him well as he’s worked with me on wedding days as one of my second shooters. Chris is a senior in high school and just announced that he’s headed to Christopher Newport University next year. He is ultra-talented: lacrosse, photography, design, piano, cooking, basketball…you name it! He’s got a heart of gold and I’ve loved watching his faith take off in the last several years. He’s gonna do big things.
Chris and Katie met about a year ago through a mutual friend and started dating pretty soon after. Katie has quickly and easily joined the family as her sweet and gentle spirit is so easy to be around. She goes along with all our craziness, and does an awesome job at keeping Chris grounded. Together they are playful and sweet, thoughtful and kind.
This past weekend my parents rented an Air BnB outside Richmond for our whole family to meet up and be snowed in together. It was everything I didn’t know I needed, and so so sweet to have time together as a fam! Katie joined us, and when it started snowing I looked at them and said, “Photoshoot?!” They didn’t miss a beat in saying yes! We had so much fun exploring the grounds and freezing our butts off together.
