Meet Jordan and Cory!
Cory is my brother-in-law’s brother, and Jordan is his wife…that makes them basically family, right?! They actually inquired with me to be their wedding photographer in early 2020, just weeks after we had found out we were pregnant and due the same time as their wedding. I was so bummed to not be able to shoot their wedding for them, but this session made up for all of that. We seriously had such a fun time goofing off together and capturing these sweet and intimate images. In envisioning this shoot, I wanted to create something cozy, comfy, playful and intimate- something that highlighted who they are and their sweet love for one another. We only had the studio for 30 minutes, but man- these two brought the fire and we made that time count!
Jordan and Cory are playful, quick to laugh, and so sweet with each other. They’re both music teachers in the public school system, so we incorporated their love of music with a little ukulele jam sesh. They met their freshman year of college as music majors at Longwood, and started dating their sophomore year. They’ve been together for 6 years, and just celebrated their one-year marriage anniversary this fall. So these photos of them just naturally loving on each other? Yeah, that’s the real deal. The day after this shoot they brought home their first puppy and I cannot wait to have them back in front my lens (hopefully soon!) for puppy photos!
