Meet Emily and Jon!
Their relationship has been one of those I’ve followed from a distance on Facebook and been cheering on for YEARS. They came into each other’s lives in unexpected ways, and it just clicked. On the surface, they’re as different as can be: she works in sports medicine and he majored in German (!), but they have fought hard for their love over the years and when they announced their engagement on Facebook back at the start of the year, I practically squealed with joy on the other side of the computer screen!
This session felt like such a long time coming and we crossed all our fingers and toes hoping and praying the skies would hold in the rain for these photos to happen. These two were nothing but optimism and rolled right along with all my crazy prompts and were so much fun to capture! We practically ran through the park as the thunder rumbled above us and as soon as we got back to the car the downpour started! What an adventure.
