Meet Elizabeth and Schuyler!
These two have a classic Yorktown love story- it all started at Yorktown Beach! They spent several summers working together at the beach as friends before it slowly evolved into something more. One day she asked if she could meet his dog and before he knew it, they were an item 🙂
They’ve been dating for two years now, and since Elizabeth is studying at Virginia Tech, they spend 8 months of the year dating long distance. They know what it is to be intentional with time apart and have invested in their relationship so well, even at a distance. But of course, when I asked them what they were most excited about for being married, they said they were just excited to be done with long-distance and able to do everyday life together!
These two have such a gentle, sweet way of interacting with each other… it’s clear that they truly treasure each other. We had a fun evening (with awesome weather!) walking around Colonial Williamsburg together, talking about all our random mutual friend connections. They both have deep Tech roots so of course we had to wrap up their session with some photos of them in their fan gear.
Enjoy some of my favorites from this Colonial Williamsburg engagement session! Their Historic Post Office wedding day can’t come soon enough!
