Meet Brittany and Igor and Baby (bump) Joey!
We got married the same summer and she and I met up for coffee one day just after Alvin and I moved back to Virginia. So much of life had changed for us in such a short time, and it was sweet to have someone to sit across from who got it. We haven’t seen each other much since then, but we love cheering each other on in our various ventures. This fall when Brittany texted me to tell me they were pregnant and wanted me to take their maternity photos in the early spring, I couldn’t contain my excitement for them!
These two are the absolute sweetest. They’ve fought hard to build a marriage with a strong foundation in the midst of lots of tough stuff. They treasure each other and support each other so well. You should have seen how Igor doted on Brittany during this shoot- slowing down to walk with her and hold her hand when her legs tightened up, and just looking at her with so much admiration and joy over all that she’s taken on in this precious season they’ve shared and so much excitement for the new one they are walking into. These two will make amazing parents to their precious little boy. I can’t wait to meet him!
