April Bridal Portraits | Governor’s Palace Bridal Session | Williamsburg Wedding Photographer

Meet April!

A dream bride, for sure. From her sweet personality and presence that makes you feel so trusted and known, to her bridal look: the most flattering gown, a stunning cathedral veil, and flawless makeup by my girl Beauty by Tiffany, April was amazing to work with. I truly love bridal sessions because they are such a sweet opportunity to see and catch up with my brides (and meet their moms usually!) before their wedding days.

In brainstorming where to do her bridal portraits, I suggested the Governor’s Palace gardens. We did their engagement session around Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary, and their wedding was at the Williamsburg Inn…it only felt fitting to complete the tour with this iconic Williamsburg location! While we had some hiccups getting to the actual shoot (her strap broke as she was putting her dress on and had to be emergency pinned in place!), it all turned out beautiful in the end! It was actually my first time shooting at the gardens, and I could not get over all the beautiful architecture and blooms we had to work with! So many gorgeous angles for photos everywhere we turned!

Enjoy my favorites from this Governor’s Palace bridal session!

Love,

Sarah
