Abby & Josh {Jewel Box Engagement Session}

Meet Abby and Josh!

(AKA my sister and future brother-in-law!)

They came to town this past week and we spent 3 days touring the city, getting in all the good food and ice cream, and having some solid heart-to-hearts.  They came to campus with us and sat in on classes, asked us all the questions I blogged about last week, and played board games at the kitchen table with us.  I imagine this is a trip we’ll look back on and tell our kiddos about.  It was just so sweet to have so much quality time together.

I couldn’t let them leave without an engagement shoot, so we spent Thursday (seriously the most beautiful spring day) around the city capturing their love.  There was just something so sweet and special about having my sister and her man in front of my lens!  Their love is playful, gentle, and fervent and I think that shines through in each and every photo!

We spent 4 hours or so together for this photoshoot, split between Forest and Tower Grove Parks, and it’s just too much goodness to cram into one blog post.  So I’m sharing the first half at The Jewel Box (and Ice’s Plain and Fancy (because every shoot should include ice cream!)) today, and next week will be the second half.  But trust me when I say, it’s worth the wait!

Love,

Sarah

Had to throw that one in there just for fun!  Love you two!
