Meet Sara and Alex!
It’s so fun to see how business friendships come about! Sara was the makeup artist creating magic behind the scenes for the styled shoot I was a part of in June, and when I finally met her in person at a Tuesdays Together meetup I knew I wanted to get to know her better. As she shared with me the heart behind her business, I was blown away by her success in and heart for helping women conquer their insecurities and bring forth their best selves through makeup. She understands the sacred and vulnerable spaces she’s been welcomed into as an artist and honors each woman’s individuality and beauty with grace. Her business has taken off in the last 6 months and it is so fun to call her a friend and cheer her on as she rocks this girl boss life!
I loved getting to have her and her hubby in front of my lens last week! It was an honor to spend time with Sara and Alex capturing these precious images to celebrate their 2nd wedding anniversary! These two have such a sweet, playful, tender love. He takes her by the hand and pulls her into his arms so naturally, and her smile is 10x bigger after her plants a kiss on her forehead. They shared their proposal story and how they first met and let me tell you, this is the real deal. Their love is genuine and gentle, and they were down to play along with all my crazy prompts! Between their hotness and the gorgeous light at Ft. Monroe, this shoot was pretty much a photographer’s dream.
