About a month ago I grabbed coffee with local makeup artist Carisse, from Beauty by Carisse, and struck up a sweet friendship. Her work is absolutely amazing and her heart for showing beauty in women of all ages and stages is beautiful. So when she mentioned wanting to collaborate for a styled shoot (and when she showed me a photo of her model best friend) I was more than thrilled to be included!
I had such a blast styling and photographing this session and spending the evening with Carisse and Marcela at Tower Grove Park. Since I largely shoot with couples, it was a treat to get creative and capture such a sweet season of life for Marcela as she awaits her baby boy’s arrival. I think you’ll agree with me (even just in seeing the collage so far) that Marcela is downright GORGEOUS and her beauty was only amplified with Carisse’s magic touch!
