Hello friends!
Life lately has been busy and full of moments worth pulling out my real camera for- something I’ve resolved to be better about! So today I thought it’d be fun to share with you a smorgasbord of images from our last week.
Alvin’s old roommate Kevin and his wife Holly came to visit us for a few days! We wandered the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, got our chimichurri parmesan fries at The Grilled Cheese Bistro, played Foosball and watched Wonder Woman together. So fun!
I’ve shot a wedding every weekend this month. The last two I had the pleasure of working alongside Sarah Street Photography (once she shares the photos I’ll share them with you). This weekend kicks off my wedding season with Emily + Jon’s big day!
Last week was Nurses Week, Sunday was Mother’s Day, and Tuesday was my mom’s birthday. Every year in May I am overwhelmed by how lucky I am to have such an awesome mom. She has been there for me through it all and spent past birthday weeks helping me through surgery, moving me out of college, and welcoming me home from the other side of the world. This year we celebrated with a day trip to IKEA! I love her!
Lastly, last night was the VIP Night for Lolly’s Creamery’s new location in the VIBE district in VA Beach! We had such a blast trying all the samples and I finally got my hands on their famous Cookie Monster flavor! We have loved being a small part of their support group and can’t wait for the public to enjoy this ice cream Friday night!
