Meet Kristen and Jonathan!
When I lived abroad after college, Jonathan and I moved to the same city at the same time. We studied and learned alongside each other and, in our teeny tiny community, spent most days together in some capacity. Later that year, Kristen came along and after I left, they both stayed in town and after years of life alongside each other, finally started dating.
Jonathan made the first move back in May, expecting things to move along slowly. But once feelings were out in the open, these two became inseparable. 6 months later Jonathan strung up lights in their favorite corner of the forest and got down on one knee, asking Kristen to be his wife.
Life has moved fast for these two, but I couldn’t be more excited for them and where they are headed. I was so thrilled to get to capture this unique season for them and celebrate with them how far they’ve come! They are adorable. I loved seeing how they brought out such sweet playfulness and tenderness in each other. We strolled along the river, laughed at all the ways they’ve changed and grown since we saw each other last and they showed me all their best swing dance moves. To say we had a blast would be an understatement.
